Exercise has been shown to have a plethora of health benefits both physically and mentally, including making you feel happier, increasing your energy levels, reducing your risk of chronic disease, helping your brain health and memory, supporting relaxation and sleep quality and even promoting a better sex life. Yoga in particular, can help improve balance, strengthen muscles, and create awareness and harmony in both the mind and body.

Used to help balance the systems of energy throughout the body, Energy work aids to restore and realign the body's subtle vibrations. Being unbalanced either physically, emotionally, or mentally, is a key indicator for stress, ailments, and disease. There are many ways to integrate energy work into one’s life, resulting in a more balanced and healthy body, mind, and world.

True beauty is never just skin deep, it begins and ends with our health, Modern-day life however, often goes against the natural rhythm of our bodies. In this program, all of these issues get addressed within a 6-month period for a gentle and natural balancing of the body. The whole body system is treated at the root with holistic therapies for the mind, body, and spirit. This is the opposite thought of the Western viewpoint of taking a pill, quick fix, or covering up. The focus is to get each woman to her highest health, and then beauty becomes the symptom! This is the year to feel and look your best, join me on this quest!

Take a chill pill from the rat race and unwind amidst the eden of Madrona Earth. Enjoy daily yoga and wild and organic foods from 5 acres of Ancient Oaks, Vernal Pools-Nature Preserve and permaculture gardens. Relax in the Hot tub on chilly nights and enjoy evening sound healings and animal spirit meditation. Begins with Blood

Stress and toxic environments can cause toxins to build up which can recirculate in the blood stream and overburden the body. At this point our health is rundown and it shows, with graying skin, withering hair, and dull eyes. Building up our blood is the basis for good health, and to understand what blood is, we need to take a look at what blood does.

Blood brings oxygen and nutrients to all the different parts of the body so they can keep working. Blood carries carbon dioxide and other waste materials out to be removed from the body, fights infections, carries hormones around the body, and functions as an enormous communications network allowing all our organs to cooperate as one unified multicellular organism.

Would you believe that the liquid inside of a coconut is similar enough to human blood that it could be injected directly into your veins? The electrolyte solution inside a coconut actually has the same osmolarity as blood, the perfect dissolved equilibrium for the support of biological cellular function, and Chlorophyll, the compound produced by plants to trap the sunlight needed for photosynthesis, has almost the same atomic structure as blood, allowing for the transport of oxygen into the living cells.

Inside of each of us, our blood is like our own private primordial ocean of life, a drifting microscopic universe of single-celled organisms, taking up nutrients and eliminating waste products back into the stream of life. All powered… on oxygen. Oxygen-rich blood cells are healthy blood cells and when cells are deprived of oxygen, they become weak and susceptible to disease.

We usually think of absorbing Oxygen in the air we breathe, but we also absorb oxygen from water and food. The Water molecules or H2O is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, and being well hydrated increases our overall oxygen levels, by making it easier for your blood to deliver nutrients and oxygen to the rest of your body. Green juices and other nutrient rich foods, contain high doses of vitamins, minerals, and live enzymes in a bioavailable form that absorb directly into the bloodstream, and increases its ability to transport oxygen into cells.

Learn about the cultural history and applications for plants in the permaculture context.

dirt path yoga

Follow the dirt path and we’ll see where it leads.

Inspired by the Indian summer and drawing upon the need to find nature within the city, I keep finding myself walking down some unknown dirt path with a yoga mat strapped to my back. What I will find, I don’t actually know. More often than not I discover some place special that many might not know. I lay down my mat and salute the sun and feel a sense of peace. With the intention of having a yoga practice connected in nature, I invite you to join me on my quest.

I will guide everyone to a location of interest and lead a yoga class with some guided meditation. Bring a picnic lunch and we can hang out and chat afterward.

Through an exciting opportunity to practice as an acupuncturist aboard a transcontinental cruise ship; I would over the next 7 months visit 26 countries. Now that the world became my personal yoga mat I quickly felt the need to share my adventure through film.
