Garden Yoga & Wild Foods Foraging

Connect with nature on a beautiful Sonoma County farm!

What we'll do:

We'll begin the day under the branches of our old oak grove. You'll work up an appetite with our playful community building yoga class. Next, you'll receive expert guidance from our wild edible foods expert on native plants. We'll build our own salads by collecting lesser known tasty foliage and veggies. We'll include homemade goodies and yummy toppings to delight the palate.

What's provided:

Food & Drink:

-Garden to Table Salad

We'll provide additional toppings: chopped egg, apples, cheese, dressing, etc.

-Ginger ale & Mint Water

Where we'll be:

Madrona Earth Center, educational farm and holistic health center. We focus on teaching balance of wellbeing through the mind, body, spirit, and earth.

We'll be outdoors surrounded by wild and tamed nature. We'll interact under our 100 plus year old oak grove and explore our wild foods garden.

What to Bring:

Help us encourage recycling and reduce waste by bringing your own salad bowl, fork, knife, water container, and cup.

Be prepared for changeable weather with sunscreen, hats, and layers of comfortable clothing. We have yoga mats but you can bring your own if you wish.

Directions:

Drive past the gate with the Madrona Earth sign. Follow signs for parking, which will be on the right of the driveway and the event will be on the left (down the dirt road towards the barn).
